Even without LeBron James on the second night of a back-to-back, the Lakers managed to overcome the Jazz 138-122 on the road. With 39 points and 15 rebounds in the victory, Anthony Davis finished the evening with another double-double. With 36 points from 13–19 shooting, Hachimura had his greatest regular season performance as a Laker, and the victory was led by 20 points and seven assists from Austin Reaves.
For the first time since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal did so in 2003, a tandem scored 35 points or more for the Lakers. What amazing accomplishments Hachimura and Davis have made.
The Lakers have now won three straight games and have a 30-26 record going into the All-Star break.
