LeBron James stated following Sunday’s All-Star Game that he will have treatment for his left ankle, which might “possibly” keep him out of the Warriors game, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
Lakers star LeBron James had treatment on his ankle prior to All-Star Weekend and will continue to receive it in the days to come, according to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times.
Despite being among the league’s oldest players, he had only missed seven games this season. But the veteran missed the Lakers’ last game before the All-Star break on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz due to an ankle injury.
James added that he might not be able to play against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday due to the ankle ailment.
“Trying to get my ankle back to where it feels confident and strong enough to finish this final third of the season.” Definitely not going to play the entire game tonight. I can play around with the young lads outside for a short while before stopping to let my body—and especially my ankle—to have another chance to relax.
