According to Witcoop, the Whites have made it plain that the player won’t be going on loan from the team in January.

Cresswell is a young defender with exceptional talent who came up through the club’s junior system. He hopes to play frequently for the senior team after having a successful loan season the previous year.

This month, Stoke is apparently looking for a full-back, but they reportedly had an initial bid for Liverpool’s Owen Beck rejected. According to The Athletic, Stoke, Coventry, Hull, and Millwall are among the Championship teams interested in a loan agreement that would last until the end of the current campaign.
