The Steelers have gotten a lot of power. First, the Steelers sent everyone important to Georgia’s professional day; General manager Omar Khan, head coach Mike Tomlin, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and others were in attendance.

However, Mims is by no means the only Georgia player teams wanted to scout. But the connections don’t end there. The Steelers met with Mims at the NFL Combine and also hosted him for a pre-draft visit. Pittsburgh is clearly interested in the promising offensive tackle. In Mims, the Steelers would be getting an inexperienced player with high potential.

Mims, who still needs to develop as a player, would not be a Day 1 starter for Pittsburgh. But if the Steelers move Mims and pair him with Broderick Jones, they have a chance to contend for the next decade.
