Done deal: philadelphia phillies has finally won a contract of of $50 million
Even though spring training is almost approaching, there are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding one of the Cleveland Guardians’ star pitchers.
Emmanuel Clase, who has surfaced in a number of offseason speculations, is currently associated with the Philadelphia Phillies.
Early on Thursday, Howard Eskin of SportsRadio 94WIP discussed the topic and disclosed that the Phillies “have spoken to Cleveland concerning Emmanuel Clase.” The problem is that Cleveland is interested in [Justin] Crawford among other players. Philadelphia is not going to give up. Justin Crawford
The Guardians would naturally seek a prospect of Carwford’s quality of skill. The 20-year-old center fielder has the skill to become a great since he can play both defense and offense. Cleveland is in dire need of that position group producing more. Considering their existing staff, it also seems logical that the Phillies would seek additional pitching depth.
