Manager says £11.5m player could leave, after claims Leeds United are trying to …..
Daniel Farke has acknowledged that Leeds lacks imagination in certain sections of the team, particularly in attacking areas. It’s evident that a fresh right-winger with a left foot is desired.
Leeds is interested in David Brooks of Bournemouth, and it appears that the latter may make a move. Burnley and Leeds have been in negotiations this week regarding a trade for Manuel Benson.
After Bournemouth defeated Swansea City 5-0 in the FA Cup, Cherries manager Andoni Iraola acknowledged to talkSPORT writer Alex Crook that Brooks may leave before Thursday’s deadline.
“What the player wants is the first part, and then a lot of things have to happen,” he stated. The team needs to find a substitute, and the finances need to make sense for everyone. We’ll watch and see. For an additional week, the market is open.
Iraola’s remarks from yesterday night are in line with the comments made by Brooks following the game and the media’s chatter, which suggested that Bournemouth could be willing to compromise if they could locate a replacement.
The 26-year-old, who Bournemouth bought from Sheffield United back in 2018 for about £11.5 million, will face off against Southampton for his signing.
Out of Benson and Brooks, it is unclear who Leeds’ top aim is; nonetheless, it would not be shocking if one ended up at Elland Road while the other moved to Southampton.
