Crystal Palace reach personal agreement with player for transfer – ‘Decisive 48 hours’ to strike deal with club ……….

Transfermarkt currently values him at €10 million, despite the Belgian club having just paid €4.5 million to sign him back in 2020.
The midfielder, who is eager to move to London, has been the subject of several reports about the Eagles’ pursuit of Muñoz in recent days. It appears that the only thing left to do is work out those figures with the Belgian team.

ESPN correspondent Julian Capera has an update on the situation from Colombia, where there has been new reporting on this pursuit.

According to him, the Eagles just need to work out a contract with Genk because Crystal Palace and Muñoz have already reached a personal terms agreement.

The teams are reportedly still haggling over the price, and it is a certain that the Belgian side will retain a cut of any future transfers.

These will be the “decisive 48 hours” for a possible settlement, according to Capera.

A substantial bid could be needed from Crystal Palace to get Muñoz from Genk, since his old club Atletico Nacional will receive 20% of the transfer fee.

In the event that Crystal Palace loses against Sheffield United, the worst team in the Premier League, Roy Hodgson may be fired.

Six days from now, Palace takes on the Blades, and a win is necessary to keep their management in place. With just one victory in their last ten Premier League games, the Eagles have dropped to 15th place in the standings, five points above Luton for the final relegation berth.

In a third-round rematch, Everton eliminated Palace from the FA Cup as well. Hodgson’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, making him the oldest manager in the Premier League at 76. However, Palace chair Steve Parish may choose to replace him earlier.

Transfermarkt currently values him at €10 million, despite the Belgian club having just paid €4.5 million to sign him back in 2020.
