Archie Gray 2.0 might be signed by Leeds before to the deadline.

Leeds United’s youth team had a memorable afternoon in Brighton on Saturday in their FA Youth Cup fourth-round match.  Rob Etherington’s youthful White team traveled to the southern coast for the competition’s last 32 matches, where they triumphed 4-0 to advance to the fifth round. After Freddie Lane crossed the ball in the 21st minute, Max McFadden volleyed the Whites into a 1-0 lead. Leeds led 1-0 at halftime. Then, around the hour mark, McFadden doubled his goal and United’s lead after Rhys Chadwick’s effort had rebounded off the crossbar.  Six minutes later, the crossbar stopped Lane once more, but this time Marley Wilson pounced to make it 3-0, and with 16 minutes remaining, Alfie Cresswell headed in the fourth goal for the Whites from a McFadden cross.

The competition’s fifth round draw has already been announced. Leeds will travel to Sheffield United to play the Blades in a Yorkshire derby in the round of sixteen.Ties at this stage of the competition must be played by Saturday, February 10. Brighton: Ferdinand, Lee, Mills, Simmonds, Vickers, Albarus, Moulton (Oriola 72), Knight, Howell, Gorman (Bashir 82), West. Subs not used: Mackley, Mansell, Fuller, Belmont, Nti. Leeds: Grainger, Billett, Richards, Crew, Toulson, Cresswell, Lane (Pirie 78), Chadwick (Pickles 83), Wilson, McFadden, McDonald (Render 69). Subs not used: Baird, Dudley, Morris, Wamba Simo.
