The Buccaneers return to Premier Soccer League play on Wednesday night, hosting the Chilli Boys at Orlando Stadium.

The forthcoming match will be Pirates’ second consecutive meeting with Chippa United, after the Buccaneers defeated their opponents in a heated Nedbank Cup semi-final at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Pirates advanced to the final for the second year in a row after defeating Gqeberha 3-1, extending their away winning streak to three games across several competitions, including victories over Royal AM and Cape Town City within a week.

Their current winning streak extends six matches across competitions, and they are hoping for their fifth consecutive league victory when they face Chippa at home.
