After a two-day layoff, the Atlanta Hawks are back on the court, ending a five-game West Coast series against the Phoenix Suns with a win against the 76ers last night. After Sunday’s surprise win against the Clippers, it was an unforgettable trip for Atlanta.

Two starting forwards are question marks for Atlanta tonight. Vit Krejci has started since Bey got hurt and most nights he doesn’t have to do much offensively. Krejci has shown his ability to shoot the three well, and he’s not a bad defender either. His production is low, but he usually finds opportunities to contribute. Wesley Matthews started in place of Johnson after he went out earlier with an ankle injury, but his condition is questionable tonight. Wesley shot well from three last game, but if he can’t go, I expect Garrison Matthews to start. Garrison is one of the Hawks’ best catch-and-shoot 3-point shooters, but he’s limited defensively.

Clint Capela has a double-double in five of his last six games, and the Suns are not a good defensive rebounding team. Atlanta will likely need a big game from both Capela and Onyeka Okongwu to give the Hawks a second chance at points tonight. Okongwu played his first game in over a month on Monday against the Lakers and played 19 minutes. Keep an eye on his minutes tonight.Read more:
