Leeds United makes a loan approach to sign a player, a standout for ……….

Journalist James Nursey revealed on his personal Twitter account on February 1st that Sheffield United and the Whites both attempted to sign the center-back on loan and offered to pay a fee as well as his entire salary in order to finalize a deal.
However, Forest rejected the offers, stating that they must make a permanent sale in order to for him to leave the team by Thursday at 11 p.m., seemingly ending the transaction.
Leeds needs a full-back more than a central defender in this transfer window, so that move seems unexpected.

Daniel Farke is now light at right-back with Sam Byram as a backup and midfielders Archie Gray and Jamie Shackleton having featured frequently there. Luke Ayling and Djed Spence both departed the club during the window.
However, Worrall is a great defender and one of the best options in the Premier League, so adding him to the team will undoubtedly strengthen the team and increase the team’s chances of winning promotion this year.

Leeds was serious in signing him and making a move on deadline day, as seen by their offer of a loan fee and wage coverage; however, Forest is having greater difficulty with FFP, so a transfer fee would be more beneficial.
