Ronnie O’Sullivan Hugely Impressed With One Part Of Cork Youngster’s …….
Aaron Hill of Cork pulled off a huge surprise yesterday at the Welsh Open, defeating four-time world champion on a 4-2 score in their third-round match.
The 21-year-old was a significant underdog going into the match against the sixth seed in their competition, but he would go on to win with some outstanding snooker play. This includes the tremendous cleaning in the last frame to seal the victory. In the past, Aaron Hill has pulled off several major upsets. At the age of 18, he defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan in the 2020 European Master.
Speaking on Eurosport yesterday, O’Sullivan acknowledged that there is one facet of the Cork man’s game that especially impresses him.
He instinctively plays the shot correctly, punching in the blue and the yellow. Many players may roll the ball and decide to leave it over the hole if they miss.

I assume that most people would consider me to be crazy. I genuinely think you will win if you approach the game correctly.
