WTVY, Montgomery, Alabama – Tuesday night saw the annual State of the State Address by Governor Kay Ivey of Alabama.
Ivey addressed a number of important legislative issues for the State of Alabama in her 2024 speech, one of which was the introduction of her Education Savings Account bill, which is seen as the centerpiece of her legislative program for the year and aims to improve education in the state.
Ivey’s agenda for the state legislature in the upcoming year was also featured in the speech, with the governor of Alabama highlighting important topics and objectives.
