DONE DEAL: LEADS UNITED HAVE DONE IT AGAIN……….
Before the transfer window shuts, Leeds United is supposedly close to completing the signing of Everton defender Ben Godfrey.
Daniel Farke will be eager to add some defensive reinforcements before the transfer market closes later this week, having already lost Luke Ayling and Djed Spence earlier in the January window.

Leeds, who are now fourth in the Championship standings, have a huge second half of the season ahead of them if they hope to be automatically promoted back to the Premier League.
A new signing could give them the exact boost that they need to finish on a high with former England goalkeeper, Paul Robinson, claiming that a deal for Everton defender Godfrey is ‘close’.
“I think Godfrey would be a good signing because he can play anywhere across the back four and he can play holding midfield.” He told MOT Leeds.
“If what I’m hearing is accurate, I believe the deal for him is closed, and I think he would be a fantastic addition.”
The arrival of Jarrad Branthwaite has forced the English defender to the bench, giving him a difficult time getting minutes this season.
Leeds still has a game in hand over their rivals, Ipswich Town, however Farke’s team is only two points ahead of them in second place.
