CURRENTLY:Leeds united promotion was terminated due to the………..

If 49ers Enterprises, the owners of Leeds United, can’t get their act together in the January market, they may have to give up on their grand plans for Elland Road.

In order to strengthen Daniel Farke’s team ahead of a demanding Championship promotion campaign in the second half of the season, the Whites have not yet added a January acquisition.

The Whites are currently only two points behind Ipswich Town in the automatic promotion spot after their hard-fought 1-0 victory against Norwich City on Wednesday, January 24. However, the Tractor Boys still have a game in hand.

One might argue that Farke’s team still lacks players in a number of positions, which could be necessary to push them over the edge in their attempt to make a comeback to the Premier League.

Furthermore, the American owners of the team have high hopes for the team, as seen by their intention to build a cutting-edge, £1 billion football team [The Athletic, April 14, 2023].

But that will only be possible in the future if Leeds United is a Premier League team. Additionally, Farke could need to make some signings if the Whites are to play in the Premier League next season.
