As soon as the ball touched the net, Anthony’s expression was filled with passion. The winger has experienced an extremely trying time since his mother passed away.

Amazingly, and this speaks something about his spirit, he was playing for the team against Preston North End only a few days after receiving that terrible news.

Anthony is a diligent player, therefore it’s wonderful to see that on Saturday, January 27, he was rewarded for his efforts with this well-executed goal against Plymouth.

The 24-year-old’s goal came in a 3-0 league victory against Watford in October, making it his second in 25 appearances for the Whites.

Anthony was always going to get his moment against Plymouth because Crysencio Summerville and Daniel James were sidelined. He has also exerted every effort after scoring in the first half.

To help give what is currently the finest assault in the division some more competition, Daniel Farke will be pursuing more of the same.
