SAD NEWS: Stefon Diggs sustained an injury after he was…………
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills had a fantastic start to the 2023 campaign before hitting a wall in the middle of it.
Despite a notable decline in output towards the end of the season and a lackluster performance in the postseason, general manager Brandon Beane made it apparent that Diggs is the team’s top receiver going into 2024.
After the club’s January 21 divisional-round defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs, Beane made it clear to reporters that he still thought Diggs will be a valuable member of the team in 2024.
Starting the 2023 season, Diggs appeared like the player he always was after a summer full of turmoil off the field. The All-Pro receiver had a steep decline the rest of the season after starting the season on track to accumulate 1,575 yards and 13 touchdowns through the first nine games.
Diggs had the worst stretch of his career without hitting the end zone during the final seven games of the regular season, which included the team’s two playoff games. He averaged just 41 receiving yards per game during this time. His difficulties came to a head when he let a 64-yard touchdown pass past his hands in the fourth quarter of the team’s playoff departure.
