REPORT:LEEDS UNITED HAVE LOST A KEY PLAYER DUE TO…..

The ball curled away from goal and soared off the striker’s laces, harmlessly skipping beyond of Gunn’s right-hand post. A significant opportunity, one that Bamford, who was playing well, may have backed himself to take last night.

After the game, Bamford discussed his goal with Leeds United’s Matchday program on the team’s YouTube channel. However, he also expressed his disappointment at not scoring a second goal.

“It worked if I made the movement, especially with the ball coming from the right, because DJ understands what my movement is when he looks to cross. To be very honest though, I’m upset that I didn’t win the second.

With the ball hanging in the air and wonderfully placed across Angus Gunn, it was a classic striker’s goal. The £10 million Leeds striker is in fantastic form and exudes confidence. After trying an overhead kick, it happens.

However, in the second half, the former England international had an opportunity to double his and Leeds’ score. After 75 minutes, Junior Firpo played Crysencio Summerville wide on the left flank.

He brought the ball back for Bamford, who tried to flash the ball towards goal with his left foot from 14 yards out. According to Phil Hay, his body was positioned incorrectly; he may have taken it with his right.
