NEWS NOW: Ben White 2.0 has terminated his signing due to,……..

Leeds United’s story has been one of departures rather than arrivals, as the Championship’s pretenders to promotion have not yet bolstered their roster as the transfer window draws to an end.

Luke Ayling, a 32-year-old full-back who joined the Yorkshire team from Bristol City in 2016, left Elland Road with just six months left on his contract. The Yorkshire team notably bid farewell to Ayling earlier in January.

The club also decided to terminate Djed Spence’s loan from Tottenham Hotspur, a full-back who had made just five league starts in the first half of the season. Manager Daniel Farke wasn’t the only full-back that the club was pushing toward the exit door.

These significant exits appear to have increased the pressure on Farke and company to strengthen the backline before the transfer window closes in just a few weeks, since depth is essential if the team is to maintain its push for automatic promotion.

The Premier League may be the Whites’ best bet for new players this month, according to recent sources. A player who may follow in the footsteps of a certain Ben White in a Leeds jersey is rumored to be joining on loan.
