Calvin Ramsay, a defender for Liverpool, has been connected to a transfer to Leeds United this month.  Following his return by Liverpool from a Preston North End loan, Championship teams have expressed interest in Ramsay. The 20-year-old’s knee ailment limited his playing time for PNE to only two appearances. The youthful player has been noted by Leeds as a possible addition to their defense before the January transfer window shuts. This is all that we currently know. Ramsay was in Aberdeen’s youth system from the age of nine till he joined Liverpool. He played for the Scottish team for nine years before making his senior debut in 2021 at the age of eighteen. In the summer of 2022, he finalized his relocation to Anfield and inked a five-year deal. In November 2022, the highly-regarded young player made his Champions League debut against Napoli, winning 2-0.

The defender was loaned out to Preston the following summer, but his stint there was cut short when he sustained a major knee injury. The Reds are arranging for him to go on loan again after his comeback earlier this month. Farke stated that he does not think Leeds will see much movement. When asked what his squad needed, he said, “Many points, first and foremost. I’m only thinking about the next four games.”I have a lot of conversations to have in the summer regarding potential transfers, incomings, and outgoings. We are now in a phase when we just want to focus on the next games; let’s speak about everything else in January since I can’t help myself and that’s when we’ll talk about it. In any case, I anticipate a very calm January for the two of us. I’m simply concentrating on the games right now.”
