Leeds United have registered their interest in signing Liverpool youngster Mateusz Musialowski, sources have told Football Insider. Whites boss Daniel Farke is keen to add to his side’s attacking options and the club have been making checks on Poland Under-21 international Musialowski. The 20-year-old, who can play anywhere across the front line, has impressed for Liverpool’s Under-21 side this season with six goals and two assists in 11 games in all competitions.

In this month’s transfer window, a number of teams have already indicated interest in signing Musialowski, with Leeds now squarely in the running.

Musialowski progressed through Liverpool’s development system after joining from Polish team UKS SMS Lodz in August 2021.

The attacker, who has not yet played for a professional team in football, agreed to a three-year contract when he came to Merseyside, and it is set to expire in June.

He has played in 80 games for Liverpool’s youth teams, contributing six assists and 30 goals in a range of offensive situations.

Additionally, Musialowski has one goal in five appearances while wearing the Poland Under-21 uniform.
