On Sunday morning, the Tennessee Volunteers received some very important news. Zalance Heard, an offensive lineman for LSU, had been leaning toward Tennessee for some time, but over the weekend, he appeared in the student directory before classes began on Tuesday. On Sunday morning, he made things official on social media. In the 2023 recruiting class, Heard was ranked No. 15 by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. This past season, he made twelve appearances in games. He will be eligible for three more years. Heard is predicted by many to start at left tackle for the Vols in the next campaign.

The Tennessee football team is currently in its offseason. After finishing the season, the Vols are concentrating on building their squad for 2023. With all of the most recent NFL Draft announcements and portal entries, Volunteer Country has the fans covered. The gateway window is open from January 2 to December 4. Players will have to wait until May after spring practice to use the transfer site if they do not transfer within that time.
