On Sunday mornings, Tennessee continues to get important updates from the transfer site. They chose to double dip after landing Zalance Heard, an offensive lineman for the LSU Tigers, out of the portal. Shortly after Heard, Stanford defensive lineman Jaxson Moi committed to the Vols. Moi just returned from a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, this past weekend, and it appears everything went smoothly. Moi still has two seasons left to be eligible. This season, he made appearances in all twelve Stanford games and recorded 22 tackles, including 4.5 for loss. In the 2022 recruiting class, Moi was ranked No. 541 by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

The Tennessee football team is currently in its offseason. After finishing the season, the Vols are concentrating on building their squad for 2023. With all of the most recent NFL Draft announcements and portal entries, Volunteer Country has the fans covered. The gateway window is open from January 2 to December 4. Players will have to wait until May after spring practice to use the transfer site if they do not transfer within that time.

First, the NCAA imposed punishments relating to NIL against the Florida State Seminoles on July 11. They were placed on a two-year probationary period, ordered to break off their ties to the Rising Spear Collective for a period of three years, and offensive coordinator Alex Atkins received a three-game suspension for Level II infractions. Moreover, FSU will give up five football scholarships in total over the following two years.
