BREAKING NEWS: Tennessee Volunteers key player has terminated his contract because …..

Ole Miss is returning one of those who has traveled a tortuous path since leaving Oxford some years ago. Veteran defensive back Brandon Turnage of Tennessee revealed on Twitter on Friday night that he has committed to playing his senior year at Ole Miss in the Red and Blue. Turnage committed with Alabama following an impressive prep career at Oxford’s Lafayette High School, but he later switched to Tennessee.

Turnage is expected to sign a non-exclusive contract (NIL) with the Grove Collective, enabling him to immediately join the Ole Miss squad.

During a 105-96 victory over Georgia on Saturday night, freshman Zvonimir Ivisic of Kentucky will always remember his fairy tale, which spans from “Once upon a time” to “Happily ever after.”

Neither will the thousands of dwarfs within Rupp Arena, and the countless others who watch from home, who are primarily Happy with a small percentage of Dopey and perhaps a few Grumpy dwarfs thrown in.

Big Z slept for a hundred days, just like Snow White did, while he awaited the lifting of the curse that barred the Croatian from playing collegiate basketball in the United States. It was under the NCAA’s control, which may not have set up the spindle but undoubtedly allowed the curse to continue.

Ivisic stated, “It just appeared out of the blue.” “At first, I was in shock. Then, I started crying, and I just started jumping around in Coach’s office.”

In just 16 minutes of action, six hours later, he recorded 13 points, five rebounds, three blocked shots, two assists, two steals, and even drew a flagrant one technical foul. He also made his debut for Kentucky, making four straight long field goals and dishing out an impressive behind-the-back pass.

Big Blue memories of that incredible moment inside Rupp Arena, the ending, will last a lifetime. But those 100 days were the centrality of this tale. Imagine working every day as a teenager, a stranger in a new country, and having no assurance that a decision affecting your future would ever be made, much less one that is favorable to you.
