“And once more, Ben Johnson hasn’t played for a lot of minutes. In the summer, his contract expires.
Leeds, meanwhile, is reportedly in favor of moving right away rather than waiting until the summer. Ben Johnson would be taken on credit by them.
The only issue now is whether or not they can agree on terms because, despite the player’s expiring contract, West Ham would like a payment.
“Thus, I believe Leeds would act quickly if they were able to move for Johnson and obtain a cheap price, or if they could convince West Ham to waive their charge.
However, there are a few areas of negotiation left to settle that one.
“They would really like Neco Williams as a right-back, but I think we can assume that is not going to happen,” he stated.
Williams will be difficult for Leeds to get out of the City Ground this month because Nuno Espirito Santo, the new manager, sees him as an integral element of his goals.
