QB Jordan Love of the Packers hits a wide-open tight end for a touchdown against the Cowboys.
Love had passed for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in the regular season going into the NFL Playoffs. When he was starting quarterback for Green Bay in his rookie season, he had a 64.2 completion percentage. And Love scored four touchdowns on the ground.
The Bakersfield, California native played at USU from 2016 to 2019 prior to entering the league. Love had a 61 percent completion percentage with 8,600 yards, 60 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions in his career as an Aggie.
The former USU standout did not play in any of Green Bay’s games during his rookie season.
In his second and third seasons with the Packers, Love played little and was Aaron Rodgers’ backup, winning four NFL MVP awards. The Packers traded Rodgers to the New York Jets after the 2022 season. The Rodgers trade made Love eligible to be Green Bay’s starting quarterback in 2023.
Love completed 606 passes for 606 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions in 10 games throughout his first three seasons as a quarterback (60.2 percent).
